The animated comparison
The comparison is an illustrative animation that plays in your browser. It does not capture wheel input or simulate mouse events, send movements to a server, or change how this page scrolls.
Using Mousely
Scrolling and gestures are processed on your Mac. The current implementation does not send a history of mouse movements or keystrokes. Accessibility and Input Monitoring permissions are managed in macOS.
Activation being prepared
The commercial edition is designed to send the license server a random installation identifier, the major version, and a purchase key when activating. A signed receipt is stored in the macOS Keychain. It does not use your hardware serial number. The service is not deployed yet; this information will be updated before launch.
Payments
The planned checkout is Lemon Squeezy. Once purchases open, that provider will process payments and related information under its own policies. This website does not ask for or store card numbers.
Before launch
We’ll publish contact details and final purchase, support and data-handling terms before enabling real sales. This page describes the current implementation and what is still being prepared.
